The Paliasa plant or known by Latin name Paliasa Klenbovia bospita Linn is a plant that has leaves about 30 cm long and has three species. Other then the Paliasa there are Melocbia umberlata Kleinbovia Deslag varieties and varieties umberlata Melocbia Visenia. But the most superior is Klenbovia.
There is a major active compound contained in the Paliasa leaves.
The first: cycloartane triterpenoids.
These compounds work to improve heart function and can maintain immunity against lead toxicity on the liver.
The second: flavonoids.
This substance serves to heal the wounds that occurred in the liver. Also reduce liver inflammation.
Paliasa actually have many benefits. In addition to reduce liver inflammation, Paliasa leaves can also be used to treat anemia and inflammation of the lungs (pneumonia).
