Sitting Too Long Could Cause Cancer

Move! Thus we can avoid cancer.

Apparently too much sitting does not only store calories but a recent study mentions the habit of sitting too long could cause a high risk of getting cancer.
The longer we sit, the higher the risk of cancer. Besides sitting, the other things that can also trigger cancer risk are the body mass index (BMI) that we have. The higher the BMI, the higher the cancer risk that shadows us.
However, this can be prevented. The study also found that by doing high activity, 100thousand cases of breast cancer and colon cancer could be prevented per year.
The same condition applies to those who work behind the desk. This habit should not be left too long. We have too slipped a break time to move every hour.

Here are some tips to get moving for a busy office workers:
1. Install a timer on the computer every 60 minutes. It is time for us to move. Do a brief activity such as walking in the hallway for 1-2 minutes or even, going to the toilet.
2. While on a phone call at the office, stand up and move. Better yet, if we could take the call while walking.
