Change Your Plate Color

Tableware is concluded as important tools in the battle of weight loss programs.
Want our diet program succeed? Try changing the color of our dinner plates. A recent study warns the size and color of plates and bowls that we use during eating can have an affect of the amount of food consumed.
In a small study involving 60 adults, researchers divided them into two large groups. Those in the first group get pasta with Alfredo sauce white in color for lunch. The second group received pasta sprinkled with red marinara sauce. Each person in each group are given a plate of white or red color randomly.
The study found those who ate with different color plate contrast with the color food on average reduced their food portion by 21%. And this is not found in those with color matching food and serving dishes.
This trick can be easily put into practice everyday. If you want to eat, try to use plates and bowls that has a color contrasting with the existing menu.
