Don’t Be Overrun By Depression

Another bad side of depression that must be known.
Do not mess with depression. It turns out the risk of heart attack can be two times greater.
A study of the relationship between cardiovascular disease and depression involved 886 people who averaged 60 years old. Five percent of participants were diagnosed with depression.
During the study, participants were given a series of stress tests, sports, measured blood pressure and heartbeat. In the end, the recovery rate of blood pressure and heart rate among the volunteers who are depressed and not will be compared.
They found, the heartbeat of the individuals who experience depression takes longer to return to normal. Heart rate recovery after exercise is one way to measure the person’s stress response. Delays the ability to establish a normal heart rate in individuals with depression indicate a dysfunction of the stress response. This dysfunction contributes to increased risk of heart disease.
Studies prove depression is not only bad for mental health but also physical.
