Accustomed to using it can cause long-term health complications.
This was disclosed in a recent study. This study says women who wear high heels prevalent risk facing permanent physical damage, including knees, hips, back, and muscles. Not only occurs in middle-aged women, these injuries can be felt even for women who are aged 25 years.
Destructive force is due to high heels force the wearer to put all weight on the ball of the foot (the sole of the foot where the toes meet with the other foot) attempted to produce stability. Because it is unstable, then to compensate users of high heels force the legs and hips forward and reverse arch to the back. The result is an unnatural posture. This will remain even if the wearer no longer uses the high heels.
Furthermore, the researchers found the user walk with harder and shorter steps than those who do not use it. In addition, they become used to bent their like when wearing high heels position. This movement pattern continued after they took off their shoes and walk barefoot. As a result, the network on their calf muscles shortens, and they provide greater mechanical stress on the muscles than women who did not use high heels.
