Effective way of reducing the risk of stroke without the aid of drugs

A recent study from found that your favorite music or enjoying humor can lower blood pressure. It is as effective as cutting salt intake in the diet or loses weight to 10 pounds.
Studies conducted involving 90 people aged 40-74 years. They are required to attend mandatory sessions for 2 months. Throughout the study, they were divided into 3 groups. The first group listens to their favorite music in every session. The second group heard the funny stories (it is also advisable to listen to music on a regular basis at home. The third groups are assigned to no treatment whatsoever.
At the end of the third month, those who listen to music or humor have a systolic blood pressure decreased by 5 to 6 points. But the third group did not experience any changes.
The research did not necessarily advise us not to undergo special treatment to lower blood pressure if you have high blood pressure. But it really helps the treatment if music could lower the pressure up to 5-6 points. Blood pressure reduction in this number also can reduce the risk of death caused by heart disease or stroke by 5-15%.
