Avoid Junk Food, Avoid Depression

Apart from unfriendly to the body and with abdominal circumference, junk food also have a negative effect on mood.

These kinds of food are difficult to refuse and many people enjoy eating it. Taste delicious on the tongue and almost can be easily found anywhere. Yes, that’s junk food. With the high levels of sodium and cholesterol in it, it often makes one difficult to live healthy.
It’s just that, apart not good for the body, recent study found junk food can be a nuisance to mental health. In a recent study found eating commercial baked goods like donuts and croissants as well as fast food, like pizza, hamburgers, and hot dogs may increase the risk of depression
Consumption of this type of food should be controlled because it is bad for physical health (obesity and cardiovascular disease) and mental.
The study was conducted involve 8964 people who are not depressed and was not taking any anti-depressant. Mental health and dietary patterns of participants are studied in an average of 6 months.
At the end of the study, 493 people suffered from depression or have started taking anti-depressant medication. Researchers found those who ate 51% junk food are more likely to experience depression than those who rarely eat them.
