Canola The Heart New Friend

Although the benefits of olive oil have long been known as effective food to lower our cholesterol levels, but that does not mean that olive oil is the only one to use. For example, olive oil could not be heated.
To answer this calling, now exist a “new” olive oil call canola. This oil has the lowest saturated fat and rich in omega-3 fatty acids and omega-6. Actually, canola oil has properties similar to of olive oil in lowering our cholesterol levels. It’s just the “magic” has not yet received much publicity.
Study showed that canola oil can really helps in maintaining our heart health. Canola oil can reduce the risk of atherosclerosis or hardening of the arteries. This new friend of the heart also is a source of vitamin E, which is an antioxidant and has demonstrated ability to reduce the risk of Coronary Heart Disease (CHD).
Another advantage of canola oil is it’s much cheaper than the price of olive oil and it does not have the pungent flavor and aroma. So, put canola oil in your kitchen cabinet and enjoy it in any dish that requires vegetable oil.
