Researchers found those who ate foods with a strong smell consume less food. The study involved 10 people.
Each participant is given a medium-size dairy custard through a tube. At the same time, the smell of vanilla pudding milk is channeled directly into the base of the participant’s nose. They can control how much food out of the tube with just a push of a button.
In the end, the study reveals a delicious and a strong aroma result in less food intake. Researchers believe the participants reduced their food intake t cut down the excessive sense of the food on the tongue.
In addition to the strong aroma of food can also help us control the size of the meal. The scent will trick the body as if we have to eat more than what is actually consumed. This method can be used as one of the variations in the success of our diet.
