Eating Rules Worth Trying

All knows that metabolism slows with age. The good news is that there is a high metabolism diet that can increase the body metabolism again.
Researchers advice to follow the following rules for 2 weeks and you can really feel the benefits.

Eating
You need to cut calories to lose weight. But too many calories lost is not good for your metabolism. When you eat less than what the body required, the body can’t function properly (the average woman needs about 1,200 calories), then it slows down your metabolism. Eat enough to avoid being hungry, as many as 150 calories between the morning and afternoon and between day and evening around 430 calories will keep your metabolism strong.

Breakfast
Breakfast in the morning can increase your metabolism stay high and keep the energy high throughout the day. Women who skip breakfast usually are 4.5 times more likely to be obese. If there is no food options, grab a yogurt or make oatmeal with fat free milk mixed with a sprinkling of nuts rich in fiber to improve the body’s protein.

Drinking Coffee Or Tea
Caffeine stimulates the central nervous system of the brain and the consumption of coffee per day can increase your metabolism by 5-8%. A glass cup of hot tea can increase metabolism as much as 12%, according to a study in Japan.

Fiber
Researchers showed that fibers can increase the body’s fat burning process by 30%. Consume about 25 grams a days or three meals rich in fiber from fruits and vegetables everyday.

Protein
Our bodies need protein to build muscle, strong body. Consume 85 grams of meat, 2 tablespoons of nuts, or 227 grams of low-fat yogurt on each of your meal. Research shows protein can burn calories 35% more.

Iron
Iron is essential to deliver oxygen to burn fat. Shellfish, meat, nuts and spinach is a source of very good iron.

Vitamin D
This vitamin is important to keep your metabolism, increase muscle tissue. Get 90% of the daily requirement of vitamin D (400 IU) in 100 grams of salmon. Another useful source are tuna, shrimp, tofu, low fat milk, cereals and eggs.

Avoid Alcohol
When you drink alcohol, your body will burn less fat as the body will use it as fuel not fat. Drinking two glasses of martini can reduce the body’s ability to burn fat up to 73%.
