Sweet Ways Lowering Blood Pressure

Sweet snack and still have a normal blood pressure.

Who does not know this snack. We often find it in cookies, oatmeal, and bread. Quite often, the children were happy eating it. Yes, it’s raisins. The famous snack as a contributor to energy before exercising. However, a recent study found raisins may also be friends of people with hypertension.
The study involved 46 men and women of prehypertension (systolic blood pressure between 120-139 mm of mercury or a diastolic blood pressure between 80-89 mm of mercury). Participants were then allowed to choose to consume a snack three times a day. They must choose snacks which include raisins or biscuits and cakes that did not contain raisins, vegetables, or fruit for 12 weeks. Both of these snacks both have the same number of calories.
Researchers later discovered, participants that chose to eat raisins have a decreased in systolic and diastolic blood pressure. While they who have biscuits or cake did not have a significant in the decreased in blood pressure.
However, despite containing a lot of antioxidants, fiber, polyphenols, and phenolic acids, raisins contain much more calories. In every 57 grams contained more than 100 calories. So, eat the raisins sufficiently to get the ideal blood pressure and maintain the ideal body weight.
