Watching Too Much TV = Kids Consumption More Junk Food

Children that are used to sit and watch TV too much are in danger of obesity.
Seeing is believing.
What is seen often lead us to believe. And this not only occurs in adults, but children innocent thoughts proved to be more easily influenced by what is seen by them. Included show on television.
In a recent study reported the longer a child watch shows on the screen, the less likely they are to eat healthy foods. The reason is simple. The young audience is more exposed to the ads on unhealthy foods like fast foods and soft drinks ad than on fresh fruits and vegetables.
According to scientists every hour spent watching will reduce them from eating fruit to as much as 8%, increasing the consumption of sweets to as much as 18%, and increased fast food consumption habits to as much as 16%.
It just doesn’t stop there. Children who watch a lot of television also tends to be less active. Studies show that these children also enjoy food high in sugar, salt, and fat, compared to children who rarely watch TV.
To prevent this from happening, it could not hurt to aware them of the important of healthy food at from an early age. Teach them to be more active with fun activities like playing ball with friends, gardening in the backyard, or just a walk together on the weekends.
Active children not only have a healthy body, they are more cheerful and happy.
