Omega-3 and monounsaturated fat are two types of fats that are beneficial for our body. Besides being able to replace bad fats or saturated fat, both these fats can strengthen bone structures.
Research shows, respondents who follow a Mediterranean-style fine bone density. Mediterranean Diet is a diet that increased consumption of fish and olive oil rather than red meat.
If you are interested to adopt a Mediterranean diet, replace fat with 8 to 10 tablespoons of olive oil per day. Consumption of fish is also in order of 200-300 grams per week. Limit consumption of red meat per week, only to 100-300 grams.
