Why Yogurt Should Not Be Heated

Yogurt and other probiotic drinks are often combined with other materials as a mixture to cook. But many people worry about the content of the good bacteria damaged if heated. Microbiologists say that the benefits of probiotics are best when not heated. Even so, processing and even heating would not significantly reduce the benefits of origin if heated with low temperature.

Slight variations are sometimes necessary in order to present the probiotic drink to not make it boring. However, the process does not always have to be heated so that good probiotic stay alive.

In the body, probiotics or good bacteria help the digestive system to maintain the balance of microorganisms. Humans have no less than 100 trillion microorganisms in the gut microorganisms consisting of both good and bad.

In order to live in the digestive tract, probiotics need food called prebiotic. For humans, prebiotic fiber complex that is not digested but can be decomposed and eaten by probiotic microorganisms in order to compensate the amount of nasty microorganisms.
