Blueberries Help Prevent Type 2 Diabetes

Study found eating more fruits, especially blueberries, apples and grapes, may help decrease the risk of type 2 diabetes.

A research looked at the diet of more than 187,000 people.
Research question on food frequency continues that follows every four years, how often, on average and consumers in consuming standard servings of fruit.

Fruit used in this study was grapes or raisins, peaches, plums or apricots, bananas, melons, apples or pears, oranges, strawberries and blueberries.

The researchers then analyzed the data to show that eating three servings of blueberries, grapes, raisins, apples and pears can lower the risk of developing type 2 diabetes significantly. But blueberries showed the greatest number that is 26%.
