Unhealthy Diet Can Make Bones Osteoporosis

Not only is the mass muscle are reduced while running an unhealthy diet. According to nutritionists, a diet which does not pay attention to nutritional balance also causes brittle bones. Nutritionist explained that the loss of muscle mass causes the body to lose fluid more easily. In it also lost essential minerals including calcium needed to maintain bone density.

When calcium in the blood is reduced along with the loss of body fluids, the body will break down the calcium from the bones. The more calcium that is broken down, the sooner human will experience osteoporosis.

When the body does not break down the calcium that is bound to the bone, then the lack of calcium in the blood will lead to disrupted metabolism.

The loss of body fluids and essential minerals in it, does not only occur when the loss of muscle mass. However, reduced muscle mass makes more and more fluid lost because the muscle can bind water very well.

When muscles work, the body energizes the body through burning glycogen. For every 1 gram of glycogen that is broken and burned into energy, 2.5 grams of fluid lost from human body.
