Not Just Make Eyes Open, Coffee Also Make Strong Memory

No doubt, coffee has become a top choice for many people to put off sleepiness. But not many know of other benefits, especially for the brain. According to research, a cup of coffee per day can strengthen memories.

This was demonstrated in a study involving 100 people.

In the study, the participants were asked to observe a number of images. About 5 minutes later, some participants were given a 200 mg tablet of caffeine equivalent to a cup of coffee, and some are given a blank tablet or placebo.

On examination the next day, the participants were again asked to observe images. Some images are images that are shown the day before, and some randomly added making the total be much higher.

When asked to identify which images where the old and new images, participants who received caffeine tablets tend to be more accurate in remembering. These findings prove that a cup of coffee can strengthen memory as the specific effects of caffeine can reduce forgetfulness within 24 hours.
