What Causes Pinched (Compressed) Nerve

It is often we hear of people experiencing pain from pinched nerves. But what actually happens and what causes it?

Nerves in the human body is composed of four parts: vertical neural spine neck eg, thoracic nerve which has 12 segments for example nerve behind the chest, lumbar nerve which consists of 5 segments of the spine and of 4 nerves example cakral consisting segments of the coccyx example.

The cause of this pinched nerve could be degenerative (decrease), heavy workload, lifting weights, lifting something beyond the physical capabilities and obesity. To diagnose whether someone has a pinched nerve is with MRI and EEG test.

To treat a pinched nerve can be done by performing treatments such as physiotherapy and taking medication. However, if it is severe surgery can be done.
