Children Are More Easier Dehydrated

Children are considered more active and more mobile than adults. In everyday activities, children spend more body fluid that is more susceptible to dehydration.

The percentage of water needs in children is also large; as a result, when they lack a little bit of fluid is the same as a severe level of dehydration. Fluid needs for children it is very individual. That is, there are no exact figures on each child.

Metabolism of children is lower than adults. So when doing activities, they need more water intake to replace fluids that have been lost.

The need for diligent habit of drinking water remains a key in overcoming dehydration in children. And for this, the attentions of the parents are the most important. When seeing them playing and sweating, no matter thirsty or not they should drink, teach them to drink and the important of body fluid.
